Hardware in development · Software available now

Your whole house, one voice away.

Ovra is a home AI that runs your lights, TV, music and thermostat from any room. It listens in the room, thinks in the house, and only reaches the cloud when you let it.

App: free to start, on any phone · Starter Kit $429 early price (later $449)

“Hey Ovra, movie night in the living room.”

Where we are

The software works today. The hardware is coming.

We'd rather tell you exactly where things stand. Ovra's assistant software is built and you can use it on your phone now. The Hub and Pods are designed but not finished: we're building prototypes and choosing a manufacturer now, and details will change before they ship.

Things you'll say

Talk like you would to someone who lives there.

Turn on the TV and put on Netflix.Powers the TV, switches to the Netflix app, dims the living-room lights to 30%.
Play my Discover Weekly in the kitchen.Spotify on the kitchen Sonos, or on the Pod in that room.
I'm heading to bed.Lights off downstairs, thermostat to 67°, doors checked. Unlocking always asks you first.

How it works

Ears in every room. One brain in the house.

  1. Wake in the room

The Pod or Hub hears “Hey Ovra” on its own chip. Until then, no audio leaves the device.

  2. Hub understands

Audio goes over your Wi-Fi to the Hub, which knows which room you're in and what's in it.

  3. Act locally first

Lights, music, timers and scenes run on the Hub with no internet. Fast, and free to run.

  4. AI when it helps

Open questions and multi-step requests go to the AI with your permission rules attached. Then it speaks back.

Connects

Works with the gear you already own.

The Hub has Wi-Fi 6, Thread, Zigbee, Bluetooth and Ethernet built in, and speaks Matter and Home Assistant. Most devices connect in the app in a minute.

Brand names show compatibility only. Ovra is not affiliated with these companies. Some services need their own account or subscription.

Privacy

Built so you don't have to trust us.

A switch that cuts the wire

Every device has a physical mic switch that removes power from the microphones. A red light shows it. Software can't turn it back on.

Local by default

Wake word and everyday commands run in your home. Recordings aren't stored. Transcripts stay on the Hub and you can delete them anytime.

You set the rules

Choose what Ovra may see and control, per device. Locks, alarms and garage doors always ask for your OK, and every action is logged.

Questions

Before you join.

Is the product finished?

No. The software is working today; the Hub and Pods are still being engineered. Renders show our current design, which may change.

Can I use Ovra before the hardware arrives?

Yes. Open the Ovra app on your phone, enter your email, and tap the link we send. You can talk to Ovra and control your home from your phone right away.

When does it ship?

Our target is early 2028. We'll email everyone on the list at each milestone: engineering samples, tooling, certification and the pilot run.

Do I need the subscription?

No. The app is free to start, and the Hub runs lights, music, TV, timers and routines with no subscription. Plus adds more AI requests, memory and natural voices.

Does it work without internet?

Yes for home control on the Hub: wake word, lights, scenes, timers and local music run locally. The phone app, AI answers and streaming music need internet.

Is that a real photo?

No. Product images on this page are renders of the design. Final appearance may change.
